Gas Leak detection
If you find you can smell gas in your property, there are a few things you can do before giving us a call.
- Turn OFF the gas – If you know where your main gas isolation stop valve is for your property then this is where you should turn it OFF.
- Open your windows & doors to ventilate your property.
- Call us and we will send one of our qualified and licensed gas fitters.
We have specialised equipment which allows us to locate gas leaks. Once the leak has been found, we can fix it and get your gas back on again.
DID YOU KNOW? – Natural gas naturally does not have a smell, the unique smell you know as gas is added to it so that we are able to smell it if there is a leak.
Gas fitters vs plumbers
Did you know that a gas fitter will be licensed to work on gas systems but is not a licensed plumber, but not all licensed plumbers are gas fitters!
Our Australian licensed plumbers are qualified in water plumbing, gas fitting, and drainage. So whether your job is gas-related or water-related our plumbers at evolve Plumbing Services will help you out!
All gas work should be carried out by a fully qualified and licensed gas fitter. Attempting any type of DIY gas work is illegal and extremely dangerous. You can check our plumbers on the public register here: https://www.onegov.nsw.gov.au/publicregister/#/publicregister/search/Trades
